How to Search the Reynolds Court Docket
Start with the citation itself. The issuing court is printed there, and that tells you where to search. Most Reynolds tickets belong to Reynolds Municipal Court. The city's Reynolds page points to EZCourtPay, which handles the citation lookup. Its live form asks for a Date of Birth first, then either a Citation # or a Last Name. There is no first-name field and no court selector on the opening screen. Use the vendor to look up a ticket. Pay a Reynolds fine through it too. But it is not a full view of the Reynolds court docket.
- Check the citation for Reynolds, the citation number, the court date, and any personal-appearance instruction.
- Allow the state-recommended posting window when the ticket is new, unless the Reynolds clerk gives a different instruction.
- Enter Date of Birth and either Citation # or Last Name in EZCourtPay. Do not broaden a failed search to another person.
- Call the Reynolds Clerk of Court when the citation is missing, the court date passed, or the notice requires attendance.
- Ask the clerk for the public docket, disposition, receipt, or certified record when a vendor result is not enough.
Expect a wait. Georgia Courts says an online record can take 7 to 21 business days to appear. So a blank result inside that window means nothing. It is not a dismissal. And if the case actually sits with Taylor Superior Court, skip the city citation search and use the county provider route instead.
Reynolds Court Docket Uses EZCourtPay
The form itself is simple. EZCourtPay requires a birth date. Then it gives you two ways to identify the citation. Enter a citation number in a text field capped at 50 characters. Or type a last name in the alternate field instead. Leave both blank. The form returns a validation message. Until a valid search goes through, no results, documents, or charges appear.
| Field | What Reynolds users enter | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Date of Birth | Required date value | Must accompany either search route |
| Citation # | Number printed on the ticket | Optional if Last Name is supplied |
| Last Name | Name on the citation | Optional if Citation # is supplied |
| Search | Submits the lookup | No full docket or document viewer promised |
A vendor receipt only proves money moved. It shows a Reynolds transaction took place. By itself, it is not a plea, a judgment, a compliance ruling, or the final Reynolds Municipal Court disposition.
The Reynolds Municipal Court
Reynolds Municipal Court runs the city's traffic and ordinance docket. It answers to Reynolds, not to Taylor County Superior Court. No judge is named on the Reynolds court page. The Reynolds charter instead sets up a municipal court under a chief judge. It lets the Reynolds city council appoint judges. Those judges serve part-time, full-time, or standby. Confirm current judicial assignments through the clerk.
Lisa Bryan serves as Reynolds court clerk. For court matters, call 478-847-3435, fax 478-847-3436, or email courtclerk@reynoldsga.com. City Clerk Sissy McLaughlin handles general Reynolds city business. Still, a citation, setting, or copy request moves faster through the named court clerk.
The official Reynolds Municipal Court page posts the court's current details straight from the city.
That city page gathers the clerk's contact information, session schedule, appearance rules, and payment channels into one official spot.
Reynolds Court Records Meet at Armory
The Armory at 88 W. William Wainwright Street hosts Reynolds Municipal Court sessions. Note the address difference. Reynolds City Hall sits at 3 E. William Wainwright Street. The Taylor County courthouse stands in Butler. Must you appear in person? Then the Reynolds location distinction matters a great deal. Paying or requesting a court record works differently.

Reynolds City Hall keeps weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It takes some Reynolds payments and receives overnight deliveries, while the Armory serves as the published session site. A holiday, continuance, or stale web instruction can change things, so call before you travel.
Reynolds Court Dates and Settings
Reynolds Municipal Court holds its sessions at 10:00 a.m. Sessions fall on the second Wednesday of the month, unless a city holiday intervenes. The 2026 calendar from the city spells out the dates: June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, November 18, and December 9. Look closely at November. That one lands on the third Wednesday, not the second. Guessing from the general rule could put you in Reynolds on the wrong day. So confirm every hearing date on the city's calendar.
| Date | The city calendar date, subject to holiday changes and later court action. |
|---|---|
| Time | 10:00 a.m. is the published regular session time; confirm the individual notice. |
| Courtroom | The Armory at 88 W. William Wainwright Street. |
| Judge | No current name appears on the inspected municipal court page; verify with Lisa Bryan. |
| Setting Type | Municipal citation or ordinance setting as stated by the court record and notice. |
The official Reynolds calendar supplied the calendar image used with this record summary.
There is a limit worth remembering. A city calendar tells you when Reynolds Municipal Court convenes, nothing more. Case activity and outcomes live in the Reynolds court docket, which is a separate record.
Reynolds Court Docket Payment Channels
Citations that do not require an appearance can be paid several ways in Reynolds. Walk-in payments are cash only, taken at Reynolds City Hall. By mail, the court takes a money order or cashier's check. Personal checks are not accepted. Prefer the phone? Call 1-800-262-0128 to pay that way. Reynolds also accepts online payment through EZCourtPay. The vendor charges a percentage fee. The city publishes no fixed dollar amount for it.
| Channel | Reynolds instruction | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| In person | Cash at City Hall | Current hours and receipt |
| Money order or cashier's check to P.O. Box 386 | Include citation number | |
| Overnight | 3 E. William Wainwright Street | Delivery before court day |
| Phone | 1-800-262-0128 | Vendor fee and confirmation |
| Online | EZCourtPay | Percentage fee and case match |
Whatever channel you use, the money must reach the court before court day. A mailing date by itself may not count. Hold on to your receipt, and ask the clerk whether the court also wants a document, an appearance, or an order.
Reynolds Traffic Tickets
A Reynolds traffic ticket belongs to the city court, not the county. Paying online starts with an EZCourtPay form. You can search it by Date of Birth plus Citation #, or by Last Name. What the form returns is a payment record. It is not a full municipal docket or a scanned document. A missing result is not a dismissal either. Call Lisa Bryan, ask when the next setting is, and ask whether you must appear in person.
Some charges require a personal appearance. Reynolds publishes its own list of examples: DUI, an injury accident or ambulance response, leaving the scene, racing, fleeing or eluding, passing a school bus, no insurance or no proof of it, any offense that could suspend driving privileges, and certain minor alcohol offenses. The clerk can confirm how that list applies to your citation.
The split between city and county citations matters here. Unincorporated areas fall to Taylor Probate Court, not Reynolds. The wider picture, including how Taylor County traffic court records are organized, appears at Taylor County traffic court records.
Reynolds Court Record Failure Notice
Reynolds puts its failure-to-appear warning right on its page. Skip payment by the court date and skip the appearance, and trouble can follow. The city says an added $150 contempt fee may apply. A bench warrant may issue. A driver's license may be suspended. Those are the outcomes the Reynolds notice allows for, not proof any of them has happened in a given case.
Missed a Reynolds court date? Contact the court clerk at once rather than waiting for EZCourtPay to change.
Ask what the Reynolds court docket shows, whether a warrant or added fee was entered, and what official step is available.
Older health and attendance language still sits on the Reynolds municipal court page. Treat it as dated material. Call before relying on it, since a web notice can outlive the practice behind it.
Where Reynolds Cases End Up
Traffic and ordinance cases stay with Reynolds unless a lawful transfer or review route moves the file. Bigger matters answer to other courts. Taylor Superior Court carries the felony and broad civil docket. Magistrate and Probate Courts hold their own caseloads. Georgia E-Access points Taylor Superior filings to account-based PeachCourt. That service is not a viewer for a Reynolds city citation.
Docket flow: Reynolds Municipal Court › Taylor County Courts › Taylor County Superior Court, Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit
A felony, a land-title suit, a divorce filing, an estate, a small claim, or a federal case never belongs in the Reynolds court docket. Proximity alone does not put it there. Figure out the court class first. Then turn to the Taylor County court docket overview for county-level routing. Federal matters run through the Middle District of Georgia and PACER.
Reynolds Court Records Reflect City History
Reynolds grew up along the Central of Georgia Railroad, a line the city traces to March 16, 1851. Surveyors laid the town out in symmetric 318-foot blocks. One block held the depot. Another was reserved for a courthouse site that later became a church park. Georgia incorporated Reynolds in 1853. Today its municipal court is a city service, run through City Hall administration with sessions at the Armory. It is not a branch of Taylor Superior. The official Reynolds history page tells this story on the city's own site.
That history explains why Reynolds keeps city records of its own even with Taylor County offices close by. Shared geography never merged the two systems.
Reynolds also claims long ties to strawberries and peaches, with a Strawberry Festival every fourth Saturday in April. Those traditions make Reynolds its own civic community. They do not shift jurisdiction. A festival-related ordinance citation still goes through Reynolds Municipal Court, while a qualifying county civil or criminal case goes to the right Taylor County court and clerk.
Reynolds Court Record Contact Route
Bring citation questions to Lisa Bryan. She handles Reynolds municipal files, settings, copies, and outcomes. The city offers no public docket viewer, no posted copy-fee sheet, and no public-terminal policy. When you call, give the citation number, the record type, the date range, the format you want, and whether it must be certified. Ask for a cost estimate before ordering. The Reynolds contact page lists the assigned city contact.
General city mail can go through the city contact route. Reynolds docket questions should go straight to the court clerk address instead. The official Reynolds city portal rounds out the city's own online presence.
The portal points you in the right direction. It never replaces the clerk-held Reynolds Municipal Court record.
Public Access to Reynolds Court Records
Georgia's Open Records Act opens a path to existing public municipal records, limited by statutes, court orders, and redaction rules. Put a Reynolds request in writing. Identify the citation or record class and the date range. Add the format you want and a return contact. Ask for the public portion and a fee estimate, and ask for the specific legal basis if anything gets withheld. One limit to know: the law does not force the city to build a new report. It also need not provide a free online docket.
Key rules:
O.C.G.A. ยงยง 50-18-70 and 50-18-71 address public records, response timing, estimates, fees, and exemption notices.
Georgia's official exceptions guide identifies records and data that may require restricted or redacted treatment.
Georgia's Uniform Misdemeanor Citation Rules govern the statewide citation forms that support municipal routing.
A blank vendor result is one thing. A sealed item, a redacted field, a missing scan, and a flat no-record answer are each something else. Before trusting any status or outcome, verify the Reynolds court docket with the city custodian.
